Technology and Design

We are pleased to welcome you to our departmental website. Our pages are crammed full of the work of the pupils of Coleraine College.

Although we are a small department we have ambitious plans and provide a fertile and creative working environment for pupils of all ages and abilities to explore a range of graphic, design and manufacturing activities. 

The Department offers a wide range of courses at Keystage 3, GCSE Technology and Design, GCSE Motor Vehicle Studies and Occupational Studies Digital Technology. We hope this site provides a flavour of what we do and a taste of the work that our pupils produce.

Keystage 3 pupils take a general courses that allows them to sample morsels of courses that they might pursue at GCSE.

This website provides a window into the kind of work being produced by the pupils in our classes. If you are a pupil curious to see what the subjects have to offer, or a parent wondering whether to advise your son or daughter about a choice of subject, we hope you find the information you’re looking for. 

In addition we like to collaborate with other departments in the school. We’re currently working alongside our colleagues in the Art Department. These should be online soon, so watch this space!
